Traveling Through the Gorgeous Fagali Airport

For those traveling to or from the Somoa Islands, there is just one airport that you can use and that is the Fagali Airport. The airport was once operated by local government agencies to perform both military testing and training. However, back in 1992, the airport was closed due to noise and pollution violations. Since its closing, the airport remained abandoned for many years until Polynesian Airlines bought it in 1996. It was reopened and named the Fagali Airport, and now has both local and international airlines within its immense and spacious facility.

Some of the airlines found within the Fagali Airport include Somoa Air, Pacific Airways and Pogo Pogo Air. Somoa Air is the only international airline within the airport, and it allows for travelers to go to America, Africa and Canada. There are several airlines that are planning to offer international flights in the near future, but this has not yet been confirmed by the airport. Over 250 people work for the Fagali Airport, providing a clean and safe environment for passengers coming to and from the airport. In fact, the airport was granted an award for safety in 2008 by the International Flight Association.

For those traveling to the Fagali Airport, there are a wide range of amenities to make your trip more convenient and efficient. Their in-house restaurant is open 24 hours a day and provides breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as drinks and desserts. You can also visit the gift shop and cafe if you want a quicker food or purchasing experience. Over 30,000 flights go out of the airport each year, making it one of the smallest yet busiest airports in the world. The airport is continually expanding to offer more space and amenities to those who are traveling to or from Somoa.
